Release Notes

Room Interiors

  • Room Interiors (RIs) are polygonal objects detected in order to take off the inner area of rooms, i.e. by inner side of the room walls.
  • For more information, please read the Room Interiors article.

Feet and Inches in Length Attributes

  • Changed how imperial values are displayed, now feet and inches values are used instead of decimal ft. values.
  • In the Properties Panel, linear values such as Length and Perimeter of selected objects are shown in feet and inches.

  • In Left Panel decimal values are rounded to whole numbers.

  • Custom Scale screen changed to updated format.

Framing Detection

  • Introducing Framing Detection – a new type of Line Detection designed specifically for Framing Plans.
  • It is available exclusively through the processing workflow.
  • To enable Framing Detection, choose the ‘Framing Plan’ type for the relevant Takeoff Zone. In the Processing Confirmation window, the Beams option will be automatically selected.

  • As with other Line Detection types, detected beams are categorized under Linear Measurements. Vertical and horizontal beams are automatically grouped based on the labels detected next to them.

Symbol Detection Update

  • Detection algorithms were improved so that symbol detection takes less time now by up to 40%.
  • Detection result is expected to contain less false positive outcomes.
