Drawing Sets Update

  • This release introduces new functionality to help you manage and update your drawing sets more effectively.
  • Create Named Drawing Set Revisions: You can now create new revisions of existing drawing sets, giving each revision a unique name. After a new revision is created, the current set will be updated automatically.

  • Open Drawing Sets in the Viewer: The current drawing set can now be opened directly in the Viewer, allowing you to browse the complete set as a single document.

  • Delete Drawing Sets: You can now remove obsolete or test drawing sets from your project, keeping your workspace organized and up to date.

Conditions: Whole Page as a Takeoff Zone

  • Earlier, users were prompted to start Conditions Takeoff with adding a Takeoff zone - the workflow that is used in AI Takeoff mode.

  • From now on, starting Takeoff Zone is created automatically and occupies the entire width of the drawing.

  • You will see created Takeoff Zone in the Left Panel and as a frame in the drawing right after adding the first Takeoff Item:

  • You may redraw the Takeoff Zone, but all Takeoff Items should be included in it.

Conditions: Properties Panel

  • Conditions, Takeoff Items and Takeoff Zones now have their own Properties Panels:

  • Properties Panel show up on selection of items either in the Left Paner or in the Viewer.

  • Properties panel shows:

    • Condition parameters such as Height and Thickness, parameters will be editable in the next update
    • All Quantities added for the Condition, up to three items

Conditions: New Shapes for Counts

  • 9 new shapes were added: LH/RH/Double Doors, Triangle, Rectanlge, Ellipse, Diamond, Hexagon, Octagon

  • Here’s the full list of shapes for Counts:

  • Note that the size of the Count Takeoff Item can’t be changed in the Viewer (only rotation is available). The size should be set in Condition settings of Dimensions:

Conditions: Opacity

  • New ability to change the item opacity relates to the appearance of all items on the drawing

  • Opacity input field can be found in Add/Edit Condition screen, to the right of the color bar:

Conditions: Extended list of Units of Measure

  • List of UOMs was extended from one option. Added units of measure:

    • Length: inches, yards and miles
