Drawing Sets Iteration 1

We’re introducing the first iteration of Drawing Sets, designed to streamline how you organize and manage project drawings.

Workflow Overview

  1. Navigate to the Sets tab within your project.
  2. Click Upload Drawings to add one or multiple drawing files.
  3. Enter a name for your new drawing set.
  4. Wait for the system to complete the upload and splitting steps.
  5. Once processing is done, the Split Review screen opens automatically.
    • Review and edit drawing titles, numbers, and disciplines.
    • Custom disciplines can be created by entering them in the text field.
    • Open page previews to verify content.
    • Check for errors in the Errors column.
  6. Select the pages you want to include in the drawing set.
  7. Click Proceed with Selected to finalize.

The system will then:

  • Create a new Drawing Set with the specified name and selected pages.
  • Store all uploaded source files in the system folder: “Source Documents.”

Conditions Phase 1

We’re introducing the first iteration of Conditions, designed to provide consistency in creating and viewing takeoff across projects and across teams.

Workflow Overview

  1. From within the Viewer in Takeoff Mode, click the Conditions tab on the left
  2. Click “Add” in the top left and create a Takeoff Zone – most of the time it will detect the name and scale automatically. If it does not, there is no ability to edit the scale for now, but this will be editable on the next release.
  3. Click “Add” again to create a Condition, set the type and name, change the desired appearance and quantity.
  4. Click the small dots next to the Condition name under the Project Library in the left panel to add a Takeoff Item within that Condition type.
  5. Quantity totals for Conditions are present within the takeoff zone folder in the top of the left panel after you have created takeoff.

Known issues

  1. Export is absent. It will be added in the next update
  2. Despite there are three possible quantities to select, only one result can be seen at a time. This will be improved later: properties panel for Conditions will show all three results; Left Panel will be extendable with three results for each Condition
  3. Only basic quantities (Length, Area, Perimeter, Volume, Count) are well tested. Other results may contain errors
  4. Changing the scale is possible while the Takeoff Zone is empty, this restriction will be improved later
  5. There are a variety of known refresh issues. If something looks like it doesn’t appear yet, click refresh and check to see if it appears.
