RELEASE NOTES
Wall Thickness
- Now all detected walls are automatically assigned one of detected wall thicknesses. By default, walls are displayed in the old way, without different thickness values.
Filters
- A new Wall Thickness toggle has been added under the Other tab in Filters.
- Off (default): walls are classified by type only (thin ≈ interior, thick ≈ exterior).
- On: each wall’s detected thickness is shown.
Properties Panel
- Individual Walls: thickness value is displayed.
- Wall Groups: all detected thicknesses within a group are listed (walls are not pre-grouped by thickness).
Manually Added Walls and Groups
- Walls added manually (bypassing detection) default to a nominal thickness but are displayed as 0 ft until re-measured.
- Newly created, empty wall groups default to 0 ft thickness.
Lock User on Page When Setting Up Takeoff Zones
- Users are now “locked” to the drawing page until auto takeoff zone setup is completed or canceled.
- This prevents accidental navigation away from the current drawing while configuring takeoff zones.
Auto-Exit Add Mode After Setting Label Template
- Upon placing any label-template object (Wall, Door, Window, Room, Custom Label, or Keynote), the tool now automatically exits Add Mode.
- Eliminates the extra step of manually turning off Add Mode after each label placement.
Convert Any Area to Any Area
- The 'Convert Area' tool is now universal across all area types (Rooms, Gross Areas, Area Measurements, and Area Patterns), allowing seamless conversion between any two.
Rename “Column Schedule” to “Beams” and “Framings” to “Lines” in Processing Confirmation
- In Processing Confirmation, the Column Schedule checkbox is now labeled Beams, and Framings is relabeled Lines.
- Terminology updated to better reflect detection results.
Disable Add Mode When Starting Takeoff Zone Autodetection
- Add Mode now isn’t activated when Takeoff Zone Autodetection starts both in Takeoff and AI-Setup modes.
- Prevents mixing manual zone creation with automated detection, ensuring a cleaner workflow.
