Workpack: Line Detection

The ‘Line Detection’ Feature enables automatic detection of any lines directly within Takeoff Mode.

How to Use Line Detection

1. Process the Document.
    • To detect Lines in any Takeoff Zone of the document, the document needs to be processed at least once.
    • So the first step is to add at least one Takeoff Zone and run processing.

2. Run Line Detection.
    • Now Lines can be detected in any Takeoff Zone.
    • Navigate to the desired Takeoff Zone and press ‘Detect Lines’ in either the Left Panel menu or the Properties Panel.

3. Review Detected Lines
    • Once the detection is complete, all detected Lines will be placed in a ‘Detected Lines’ Linear Measurement group.

4. Organize Detected Lines
    • From here, you can use Grouping Mode to separate detected Lines into groups as needed.
