In March 2025, Beck Technology announced its acquisition of Workpack.ai, an amazing AI-driven tool that would transform quantity takeoff in DESTINI Estimator.
Workpack is an AI-powered document markup tool for construction. It automatically detects objects in drawings across various trades, enabling users to generate and edit AI-assisted quantity takeoffs.
Users can upload PDFs, process measurements, and export data to Excel, JSON, or other systems via API.

Standalone Workpack Vs. Estimator Integration
Alongside the standalone version of Workpack, we have also leveraged the powerful AI technology of Workpack to drive a new AI Takeoff feature in Estimator. This manifests as a new AI Takeoff button in the top ribbon in the Takeoff View.
With two distinct Workpack-powered offerings, we have worked to make finding information for both versions as easy and intuitive as possible.
Standalone Workpack:
We have created a new Workpack AI Takeoff section on the Help Center front page. This will be the main hub for information and workflows for the standalone Workpack product. Workflow articles for the standalone product will also have headlines distinctly marked 'Workpack:'. Here are the links:
