What is the ‘Framing Detection’ Feature?
- The feature enables automatic detection of beams in a Framing Plan.
How to Use It
- Add a Takeoff Zone and select the ‘Framing Plan’ type. In the Processing Confirmation window, you will see the Beams option automatically selected for processing.
- Process the document.
- Once the processing is complete, the detected framing beams will appear in linear measurements, sorted into groups by labels detected next to them.
Framing Detection vs Steel Column Schedule Detection
The main difference between the two features is that in Steel Column Schedule Detection only vertical lines get detected, as opposed to vertical and horizontal beams in Framing Detection.
