Error: The Target Principal Name Is Incorrect
Error message: “System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException (0x80131904): The target principal name is incorrect.”
This error happens when a user changes their Microsoft Windows password, but the password is not updated in the SQL Active Directory that is mapped to the databases.
To resolve this, remove the users from the Active Directory group and add them again.
