We recognize that every estimator is different. Each estimator has their own set of workflows that supports all aspects of their day to day beyond the use of the DESTINI Suite. These guidelines are intended to acknowledge that every user and every environment is different and provide direction to support estimators holistically in their day to day activities. These guidelines may need to be adjusted depending on user and environmental needs and demands.
Hardware Guidelines
While these guidelines do support the use of the DESTINI Products, it’s important to factor in all other programs and workflows that are happening alongside the use of the DESTINI Products when determining your hardware needs.

While the DESTINI Products hosted solution is running in the cloud, the user’s hardware is responsible for real-time playback of what is happening in the cloud. For the best experience, the hardware should be capable of performing real-time streaming playback while simultaneously supporting all other applications and workflows running on the machine.
Network Guidelines
Corporate and personal networks are wildly different. The demands on both are very different, and those demands are supported very differently. The guidelines below are intended to provide a starting point for evaluating the overall bandwidth needs necessary to support the use the DESTINI Suite. Network infrastructure should be sized to address the needs of all users and may include other software and devices on the network.
Display resolution is the largest driver for the DESTINI Products hosted solution’s bandwidth needs. These guidelines are based solely on the DESTINI Products hosted solution and do not factor in other software, users, or devices that are simultaneously using the network.

These guidelines do not represent a constant pull of data and generally refer to peaks. Every user is different and uses the DESTINI Products differently, and each user’s average bandwidth use and need will be different. - Hardwired connections typically offer the best experience.
- Home users should have a connection of at least 100Mbps.
