How to Apply Vectors in Takeoff
Applying vectors in 2D Takeoff can be done by selecting the Line button, then clicking on the Takeoff. You can sketch hot spots and quickly snap the vectors together.
If you want vectors disabled, move the slider all the way to the right and click the update vectors button. If you do not want to draw the entire line then use the Alt key while hovering over a line, and that will allow the user to start the sketching from that point and not include the entire line.
If you want to exit the vector line drawing, click the Esc key on your keyboard.
