Very Important: On-prem clients will need to have the local Becktechnology SQL instance installed to download an estimate.
Hosted clients cannot download estimates in the hosted environment. Beck Tech Support has access to the file, so let us know the name of the estimate you are having issues with.
Config file update:
1. Navigate to location - C:\Program Files\Beck Technology\DESTINI Estimator Team\App
2. Launch the Estimator.exe.config file with Notepad
3. Add "Destindata" in the value similar to the screenshot below.
4. Save the file back in the location or you may have to save it to the Desktop and drag it to the same location. Make sure you select the Save as Type to = All Files before saving so that it keeps the .config extension
Downloading the Estimate
1. Click on the Ellipsis on the estimate card
2. Click the Download button
3. The file is stored in the default location -- C:\ProgramData\DESTINI Estimator
If your Programdata folder is not visible you can restore your Hidden folders by clicking the View tab and checking the Hidden items box.
You may have to zip the file or upload it to a shared location and send the link to support@beck-technology.com if the file is too large to email.
