Bid Day Version 1.2 Release Notes - 2/6/2026

 New Features

  • DC-1474 - Live General Requirements Editing at Project Level

    • Ability to add NEW General Requirements into a Bid Package while the Project and Bid Package is active. This enhancement brings General Requirements to parity with Trade Requirements by allowing users to add new, project-based requirements at any time within an active Bid Package, improving flexibility in communicating scope changes, documenting decisions, and keeping bid teams aligned throughout the bidding process. This feature is flexibility in delivering, maintaining and advancing Bid Package Management!

  • DC-1596 - Lock Bid Packages from the Summary Sheet

    • A new location for locking Bid Packages within the Summary page to see the locks on Bid Packages across the Project easily. When you hover over the lock you will see who has locked it. When you are hovering over the cell the lock will appear as available to click, otherwise the lock will be invisible unless locked to provide a clean and easy to review the Bid Project as a whole. Once a Bid Package is locked, no further changes can be made to it from the Summary page or the individual Bid Package page if you are not a project admin or the contributor who locked it. This allows for a visual queue for completion or preparation for review.

  • DC-1603 - Ability to add notes in Bid Day Packages

    • Expanding our available Notes in Bid Day, you will know be able to add notes to all Bid and Contribute to Cost fields whether they are numerical or text. You can hover over the field, and a note icon will appear or you can click Alt+N when within the field to start adding notes. Notes can be up to 4000 characters, editable, and visible within the Bid Package tab. Notes remain within Bid Day for internal communication within the packages and are not exportable.

  • DC-2946 - Update notes tooltip + header

    • Simplify the Notes within Bid Day. You currently get a long header for each note you hover over, with this change you will see a simplified header to reduce the header size and make gain back some valuable screen space. You will now see “Notes” and “Add Notes” as the header when you hover over.

  • DC-1859 - Project Freezes for Large Numbers of Project Admin/Contributor Permissions

  • DC-2716 - Bid Summary page headers are cut off when error message displayed

  • DC-3306 - Lock on a Bid Package should be seen by all users

  • DC-3382 - Live Updates and Notes tool tip do not match actual values

  • DC-3472 - New General Requirements should appear under Global

  • DC-3572 - Unable to save the project after deleting/re-adding a bid package when there is project-specific General Requirements created

  • DC-3628 - Contributor permissions for editing and locking bid packages are not enforced correctly

  • DC-3645 - Notes are disappearing on line items if a User changes the drop down value
