Bid Day Release Notes (November 2022)

Here are the release notes and bug fixes for this release.

As part of our latest patch, we have released an enhancement to precision for fees.  In most cases, this will have no impact on your project numbers, but in a few isolated cases may cause a shift of 1/100,000th of a percent.  The impact, even to very large projects, is minimal but we are communicating this to prevent confusion and uphold transparency with our customers.

Suppose I have a $200,000,000 project and I add a fee of 3.021%, which works out to $6,042,000.  If this was one of the rare cases where the enhancement caused a shift, the fee would now be 3.02099%, which works out to $6,041,980, which is a difference of $20 across a $200M project.

Please note that this only applies to values entered in the past, moving forward there are no shifts to entered/updated values, which will be applied as-entered.

If you have further questions, please reach out to support@beck-technology.com and we will assist.
