Keynotes are a type of table with value and description data referencing special information in a given document.

How To Set up and Process Keynotes

Keynotes can be set up in two ways; with or without a Keynote Label Template.

Keynotes with Keynote Label Template:

  1. In AI-Setup mode in left panel select +AddLabel TemplateKeynote Label Template
  2. Place the keynote label on the keynote in takeoff zone

  3. In the left panel select +AddTables.
  4. Place table on keynotes table on sheet.
  5. In Table Information, fill in the Name field and set the Table Type to Keynotes.
  6. Select the keynote scope; either apply to the entire document or only to the sheet containing the table.

Keynotes Without Keynote Label Template:

  1. In AI-Setup mode in the left panel select +AddTables.
  2. Place table on keynotes table on sheet.
  3. In Table Information, fill in the Name field and set the Table Type to Keynotes.

Select the keynote scope; either apply to the entire document or only to the sheet containing the table.

After creating a table, you have the option to change parameters of the table by selecting it in the left panel and changing it in the Properties Panel.

After setting keynotes, processing is the same for both with and without Keynote Label Template:

  1. Open Processing Confirmation window
  2. In Tables tab select tables with Keynotes type
  3. Start processing

With processing finished keynote table(s) are added to document:

Keynote labels will be located in Custom Labels, if Keynote Label Template was created, and in Text Labels if it was not.

Important Notes

  • Keynote Label Templates can be placed only in takeoff zones.
  • Matching of keynote labels to the table is determined by the scope of the keynotes table after processing.
