Workpack: Flooring Plan Takeoff
Here is a brief overview of the steps to run flooring plan takeoff in the standalone Workpack product.
- Open your flooring plan document for takeoff.
- You can either use AI-Setup or manual takeoff modes:
- For AI-Setup mode:
- Place takeoff zones by clicking the +Add button either with auto-detection or manually.
- In the Takeoff Zone properties in the right panel, choose Finish Plan in the Type field.
- Add room label templates with the +Add button → Label Template → Room Label Template by drawing shape over label on sheet.
- If needed add room schedules with +Add button → Table by drawing shape over table on sheet.
- Click the Process button. In the Process Confirmation window, choose additional options and make sure to check all objects you need to process.
- Click Continue and wait for processing to finish.
- After processing is finished, correct any processing mistakes if there are any.
- Place takeoff zones by clicking the +Add button either with auto-detection or manually.
- For manual takeoff mode:
- Place takeoff zones by clicking the +Add button either with auto-detection or manually.
- In the Takeoff Zone properties in the right panel, choose Finish Plan in Type field.
- Place rooms manually in takeoff zone with +Add button → Rooms.
- You can add more measurement types, such as linear measurements or counts, by enabling the corresponding toggle in the Filters section of the left panel.
