Workpack: Custom Labels

Custom Labels can be used to annotate measurements that are not Wall, Door, Window or Room Labels — such as plumbing or lighting fixture labels.

In AI-Setup Mode, Custom Label Templates are placed on the sheet to add Custom Labels after AI processing.

In Takeoff Mode Custom Labels are measurements that can be added to the sheet via the Add button.

How to Add Custom Labels to Your Project:

In AI-Setup mode:

1. Add a Takeoff Zone to the sheet by clicking; +Add → Takeoff ZoneAuto-Detection or Manual Select.

2. Add a Custom Label Template by clicking the +Add button, selecting Label TemplateCustom Label Template. Draw a rectangle over the label on the sheet.
  • You can change name of the new Custom Label Template in right panel or the left panel.

3. In the Processing Confirmation window, select Custom Labels, then proceed with the AI processing of the document.

4. After processing is finished, Custom Labels will be added to the sheet.

In Takeoff mode:

1. Add a Takeoff Zone to sheet by clicking: +AddTakeoff ZoneAuto-Detection or Manual Select.

2. Add a Custom Label by clicking: +AddCustom LabelsAdd to new custom label, and place the custom label measurement over the relevant label on the sheet.
  • If there's already a custom label on the sheet, you can add a label measurement to the existing label by selecting its group.
  • After adding a label measurement you can edit it to fit the label on sheet.

Important:

After processing, the Custom Label will take the name of the corresponding Custom Label Template. Here's a video example:
