How to Remove the Item Number from a Cloud Report

The Line Item Identification parameter in DESTINI Cloud reports controls how line items are identified and displayed in report output. This parameter already includes built‑in functionality to exclude the Item Number from printing, eliminating the need to manually remove item numbering through report layout changes.
 

Reminder: Cloud Reports must be opened and edited in DESTINI Cloud

 

Remove Item Number at Runtime

  1. Inside Cloud, run your report
  2. When the Report Previewer window opens, locate the Parameters panel on the left side of your screen.
  3. Expand the Line Item Details group
  4. Set Line Item Identification to (None) using the drop-down
  5. Click the Submit button

Update the Parameter’s Default Value

  1. Open the Report Designer

    1. In Cloud, open an Estimate (any estimate, it doesn’t matter which).

    2. Navigate to the Home View.

    3. In the main Ribbon, click on New Report…

      1. Report Designer will be launched

  2. In the Report Designer, open your report template file

    1. Click the Open button

    2. Navigate to the location of the report template file (.repx) that you want to modify

  3. On the right side of your screen, open the Field List

    1. Locate the Report Explorer on the right side of the screen.

    2. Using the tabs, switch to the Field List.

  4. At the bottom of the Field List, expand Parameters and select LineItemIdentification_Parameter

  5. On the bottom right side of your screen, locate the Properties

  6. Clear the Value field contents and press the Enter key on your keyboard.

  7. Save and run your report.
