DESTINI Takeoff Version 1.9.3 Release Notes

DESTINI Takeoff 1.9.3 introduces workflow improvements to condition editing and Split Review performance, including searchable condition categories and non-disruptive sheet renaming. This release also resolves critical canvas interaction and synchronization defects, including drawing sheet scroll locks, cursor offsets near the Conditions Legend, WBS assignment retention during zone rescaling, and condition updates within embedded Estimator templates.

Enhancements & Workflow Improvements

  • Searchable Condition Categories: Replaced the category dropdown in the Add/Edit Condition modal with a type-to-search input, allowing users to find and assign categories quickly without navigating through recent lists. (DC-8840)
  • Collapsed Categories by Default: Categories in the Advanced tab of the Edit Condition dialog are now collapsed by default for faster scanning and easier navigation. (DC-8839)
  • Non-Disruptive Sheet Renaming: Manually editing a sheet name or number in Split Review no longer triggers an unnecessary refresh or re-rendering of page thumbnails. (DC-8115)
  • Split Review Performance: Optimized Split Review responsiveness to safeguard processing speeds when handling large document sets or operating on slower network connections. (DC-8058, DC-8926)

Split Review & Drawing Sets

  • Split Review Dismissal on Publish: Resolved an issue where the Split Review window remained open and failed to close automatically after publishing a set. (DC-8799)
  • Drawing Set Save Completion: Fixed an issue where saving changes to an edited drawing set would run indefinitely without finishing. (DC-8902)
  • Publishing Progress Indicator Label: Corrected the progress label in the action panel so it accurately displays the active set name rather than a subsequent pending set when uploading multiple document sets back-to-back. (DC-9032)
  • Embedded Split Review Responsiveness: Resolved lagging and inconsistent behavior when navigating Split Review inside embedded Takeoff. (DC-7160)

Canvas, Navigation & Takeoff Zones

  • Canvas Scroll Lock: Fixed an issue where drawing sheet scrolling became locked if no Takeoff Zone was present on the page. (DC-8816)
  • Conditions Legend Cursor Alignment: Resolved a defect where interacting with the Conditions Legend caused mouse clicks to select takeoff offset significantly from the actual cursor position. (DC-7172)
  • Takeoff Zone Autodetection Processing: Fixed an issue where enabling automatic Takeoff Zone detection prevented drawing sets from completing processing. (DC-9055)
  • Takeoff Zone Rescale WBS Assignment: Resolved an issue where changing the scale of a Takeoff Zone after drawing takeoff caused WBS assignments to clear in the estimate view. (DC-7800)

Conditions & Estimator Integration

  • Instant Condition Sync in Estimator Templates: Renaming or modifying a condition in the Condition Library within an Estimator template now updates the Conditions pane and Cost Item View immediately without requiring the template to be closed and reopened. (DC-7378)
  • Custom Discipline Formatting: Fixed an issue where custom disciplines failed to maintain user formatting. (DC-8404)
