DESTINI Takeoff Version 1.9.2 Release Notes

DESTINI Takeoff 1.9.2 fixes several problems with backouts that caused wrong quantities, and it makes Split Review faster and more reliable. Conditions are also no longer labeled "(beta)." Other fixes cover AI Takeoff grouping, how metric conditions look on the drawing, and errors in embedded Takeoff.

Enhancements

  • Conditions are out of beta: The "(beta)" label has been removed from Conditions everywhere it appeared in Takeoff. (DC-8046)
  • Faster folder navigation: Opening and working with folders is quicker. (DC-8618)

Bug Fixes

Backouts

  • Backout quantities after editing a condition: Backed-out areas now keep the right quantities after you edit a condition. (DC-8847)
  • Backouts filling in or duplicating: Backouts no longer fill in after you edit them, and they no longer duplicate. (DC-7165)
  • Changing a backout's condition type: Changing a backout condition to a different condition now works the way you'd expect. (DC-8411)

Split Review

  • Split Review speed: Fixed a slowdown that made Split Review take much longer than usual. In one case, a single PDF took about as long as a 250-page set had taken the week before. (DC-7520)
  • Split Review stays open after publishing: Split Review now closes when you publish. (DC-8799)

AI Takeoff & Canvas

  • Grouping mode jumping to the corner: Turning grouping mode on or off after running AI Takeoff no longer zooms in and jumps to the top-left corner of the page. (DC-7534)
  • Metric conditions look too big: Conditions that use metric dimensions now display at the correct size. (DC-8788: Hotfix 1.9.2)

Mapping & Embedded Takeoff

  • Condition names ending in a space: You can now map a condition to a line item even if the condition's name ends with a space (for example, "Tree "). Before, dragging a quantity to the Cost Item View didn't show that it was mapped. (DC-7380)
  • Stacked error pop-ups in embedded Takeoff: Fixed a "null request" error that could appear in embedded Takeoff while an estimate sat open and idle. When it happened, you had to dismiss a stack of the same pop-up many times. (DC-8843)

Stability

Front-end errors: Fixed three errors in the app: a polygon copy error, a destructuring error, and a Takeoff Zone intersection error. (DC-8818, DC-8819, DC-8820)
