DESTINI Cloud Estimator Version 1.6.3 Release Notes

DESTINI Estimator 1.6.3 delivers important stability and usability improvements across embedded Takeoff and multi-user collaboration, corrects Start card total calculations and overline decimal precision, and optimizes event processor performance and SignalR authentication resilience.

Bug Fixes

Takeoff & Embedded Views

  • Takeoff View Blank Loading: Resolved an intermittent issue where opening the DESTINI Takeoff view resulted in a blank screen without loading takeoff or the login prompt (DC-9086).
  • Floating Takeoff Pane in Multi-User Sessions: Fixed an issue during multi-user sessions where navigating to the Estimate view caused the Takeoff pane to float and become unresponsive (DC-9092).
  • Conditions Panel Property Sync: Fixed an issue where changes made to Takeoff condition names and other properties failed to immediately reflect in the Conditions Panel (DC-7752).
  • Condition Choice Mapping: Resolved an unexpected error triggered when mapping a takeoff condition that governs assembly choices (DC-7748).

Estimate Grid, Overlines & WBS

  • Overline Decimal Precision: Fixed an issue where the Cost/Unit column failed to respect the configured Unit Cost decimal precision in overlines (DC-6043).
  • Overline JSON Export Sanitization: Corrected overline JSON exports so the contributes-to-quantity list properly excludes deleted line items (DC-8808).
  • Duplicate WBS Value Deletion: Resolved an issue where duplicate WBS values could not be deleted from the estimate (DC-6104).
  • Multi-User Cost Synchronization: Resolved an issue where costs deleted by one user remained visible to another user, and fixed a confirmation popup appearing behind the cloud window (DC-4269).

Fees, Start Cards & Estimate Management

  • Start Card Cost Recalculation: Fixed an issue where the Start card Total Cost remained stale when cost changes were processed after configuring fees (DC-9232).
  • Estimate Version Start Card Totals: Resolved an issue where Start card totals for a newly created estimate version did not update to reflect line items added after version creation (DC-9246).
  • Bond Cost Basis Editing on Alternates: Fixed an error encountered when editing the cost basis dropdown on a Bond fee within an Alternate when BASE fees are selected (DC-7193).
  • Estimate Creation from Published Regions: Resolved an issue that prevented users from creating an estimate from a published region (DC-7284).
  • Bid Day Subcontractor Retention: Fixed an issue where pulling the same package consistently from Bid Day failed to maintain the Selected Subcontractor value properly (DC-7310).

Assemblies & Cost Database

  • Cost Database Grouping Exception: Resolved an unhandled concurrency exception ("Collection was modified") in the tree control when adding a Cost Database grouping in a template (DC-9112).
  • Parking Lot Island Assembly Defaults: Corrected the default question answer value for the Parking Lot Island Assembly (DC-1978).

Improvements & Technical Debt

  • Event Processor Bulk Operation Performance: Optimized event processor throughput during bulk operations (such as copying, template creation, and versioning) by reducing redundant estimate query model loads, saves, and audit blob writes (DC-9119).
  • SignalR Token Expiration Handling on Sleep/Wake: Resolved repeated 401 authorization loops in SignalR when a device wakes from sleep with an in-flight token refresh by validating the returned JWT expiration and enforcing token refreshes (DC-9159).
